Corporate Information
Finlux was founded in 1964 and began manufacturing televisions in Finland. In the early to mid 1990s, Finlux was part of Nokia consumer electronics. After several changes, in 2006, Vestel, part of the Zorlu Group and Europe’s largest TV manufacturer bought the Finlux brand, and Finlux televisions staged a return to the stores in Finland.
Vestel, is Europe’s largest, and the world’s third largest television manufacturer. Vestel’s plants manufacture around 12 million television sets each year.
Finlux has been launched in all European regions now; this includes 28 countries. Cutting edge technology, Research, Development, and the Scandinavian heritage of Finlux, create the foundations for the brand. Finlux is synonymous with Scandinavian living, and it represents the key principles of the Scandinavian lifestyle; healthy, simply, and functional.
In the UK, Finlux TVs will be offered exclusively via FinluxDirect.com; our online store launched on December 1 2011.
